Once again the Profilocolore technology proves to be valid and necessary during diagnostic investigations on cultural heritage.
This time our Multispectral Imaging System was used inside the basilica of San Sebastiano in Melilli, Sicily (SR).
During the meeting organized by the Italia Nostra section of Melilli, Eng. Melis, CEO of Profilocolore, presented the results of the diagnostic study carried out together with Studio Emmebi Srl.
A photogrammetric, colorimetric and multispectral survey in HD was carried out on the painting of the wooden ceiling, which highlighted significant criticalities.
These results will be preparatory to the restoration of the painting.
