Optical Filters
SEE THE WORLD THROUGH THE RIGHT GLASSES
Optical filters are a fundamental element of multispectral and colorimetric imaging analysis.
The approach of Profilocolore is to maximize the synergy between:
– sensor spectral sensitivity
– spectral transmittance of the Color Filter Array (CFA) on board of the cameras
– transmittance of the Optical Window in the modified cameras
– spectral transmittances of filters applied in front of the camera lens.
The research activities of Profilocolore have made it possible to minimize the number of photographic shots by maximizing the overall spectral transmittances from the subject taken up to the sensor.
The variety of filters available at Profilocolore includes both standard pass band and long pass filters and multiband pass filters with Profilocolore optimized custom spectral transmittances.
