Controlled acquisition
Camera settings, focus, exposure, filter sequences, file naming and metadata are managed at source.
THE SYSTEM LOGIC
01
Calibrated hardware captures raw spectral and colorimetric data from the subject.
02
Raw data is checked against a reference target so every measurement is comparable across sessions and devices.
03
Geometric, lighting and instrument distortions are removed to isolate the true signal.
04
Corrected data is converted into colorimetric and spectral values, pixel by pixel.
05
Results are cross-referenced against past acquisitions or reference data to detect change over time.
06
Findings are packaged into standardized, exportable documentation ready for the client’s use.
01 System module
Reference targets, spectral filters, cameras, lenses and controlled illumination configured as one acquisition system. Create a stable physical foundation for calibrated multispectral and colorimetric measurements.
02 System module
A coordinated software set for camera control, calibration and correction before analysis begins. Reduce acquisition variability and prepare consistent image data for measurement.
03 System module
Turn calibrated captures into spectral, colorimetric, geometric and multi-technique evidence. Keep measurements connected to image position while enabling specialised interpretation and export.
04 System module
Align complete datasets and calculate differences pixel by pixel and feature by feature. Make change measurable across time, captures and techniques rather than relying on visual comparison alone.
05 System module
Dedicated tools for controlled photographic colour reproduction, comparison and reporting. Move professional photography from attractive appearance to controlled and explainable colour.
06 System module
Operational instruction and advanced scientific training that make the system usable within real workflows. Transfer capability to the client team and connect HMI tools to the application environment.
INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL PARTICIPATION
Marcello Melis represents Profilocolore in CIE JTC21 (D8/D2), contributing to international technical work on representation spaces, transformations and data formats for multispectral and hyperspectral imaging.
COMMERCIAL MODEL
Each HMI solution combines the appropriate capture hardware, software modules, protocols and training. Software is offered as a perpetual single-user licence, with maintenance and upgrades available through an annual plan.
Connected software workflow
CapturePick, SpectraPick, PickViewer and DeltaViewer work as a connected path. Each stage preserves acquisition context, calibration choices and spatial registration so the evidence remains traceable.
Camera settings, focus, exposure, filter sequences, file naming and metadata are managed at source.
Images are aligned and corrected before they become colorimetric outputs, spectral bands and diagnostic false colours.
Pixel and ROI measurements, maps, comparisons and external data remain connected through analysis and reporting.
